About the Creator
Mark Kahanding is a scholar and practitioner of modern warfare, with combat experience in drone operations during a deployment to Syria. He holds a Master’s degree from Johns Hopkins University, where his thesis, “Out of Control: An Historical Analysis on the Soviet-Afghan War,” was published on the university’s website. His research explores unconventional warfare, counterinsurgency, and air power, combining historical analysis with real-world operational insights. Through Eyes in the Skies, Mark provides expert commentary and lessons learned on Drone Warfare, Information Warfare, and Cyber Warfare, helping readers understand the evolving technologies and strategies shaping modern conflicts.
